Intimate Brooklyn Wedding at Humboldt & Jackson - Raz & Dave
It’s time for another gem of a wedding shot by my amazing associate Yunika! This one is full of style and those chill intimate celebration vibes I love so much! Raz and Dave exchanged vows in front of 30 of their closest friends and families at a pretty cool bar event space in Williamsburg - Humboldt & Jackson. Scroll down for some Brooklyn street adventures with Raz and Dave;)
Bowery Hotel Wedding Photos - Patti & Lu
Obsessed with this gorgeous couple and all the special moments from their Bowery Hotel wedding celebration! Patti and Lu are the definition of a modern partnership and it makes me so happy that their relationship goes so deep and their wedding represents more than just a one day party but their lifelong commitment to each other. As always, I love to let my couples describe their relationship so here are a few words from Patti:
“Lu and I met during college in November 2007 at a "Friendsgiving" that our maid of honor, Amanda, was hosting in Brooklyn for those who weren't going home for Thanksgiving. We had pretty instant chemistry and went on a date a few days later and have been together ever since :) I think what is one of the most important things after being together for almost 11 years is that we still really like each other and at the very base of it all, are still best friends at the core. We've gone through ups and downs like every other couple, but at the end of each day, we choose each other. We've grown up together through alot of life events (studying abroad apart, graduating college, first jobs, law school, etc) and thus understand the importance of partnership.
Lu will joke that his favorite thing about me is my (bad) singing and my favorite thing about him is his insane productivity (he designed all the invites, stds, menus, etc by himself because he enjoys design as a hobby even though he's a lawyer by trade) but ultimately I think that we both like making each other laugh and there's a sense of comfort when we're close together where our anxiety fades and we just know 'everything will be OK' if we got each other. We're so integrated in each other's lives at this point, that it feels like Lu is as part of me as is my arm or leg. It's a wonderful feeling to have such a deep friendship and partnership with someone :)”
Intimate Fort Tryon Wedding Ceremony, NYC Elopement - Miranda & Tristan
The coolest duo who met while working in a cupcake shop! Also, I am just going to share Miranda’s words describing their relationship here because I definitely can’t say it better:) “Tristan and I met in Boston while working at a cupcake shop together. Tristan has been my rock the last 5 years. We met at a really interesting time in both our lives. He was finishing school; I was trying to start a business (which failed). He graduated and got his first job; I ended up going back to school. I owe a lot to Tristan for helping me find a career path that I really identify with and enjoy. He's really the best partner I could ask for: supportive, loving, and patient. We take care of each other in complementary ways and I'm really grateful we found each other. I asked him what he loved the most about me and this was his response: I love how no matter the challenge (work, school, side hustles, career shift) you totally just go for it and put in the time and effort. Even if things don’t always pan out, you still went for it. I’ve always loved that about you.“
It was a lucky day for these two with some timing hiccups and avoiding the craziest rain downpour earlier! The clouds opened up and we got the most beautiful moments of their intimate ceremony in Fort Tryon Park:)
Arrow Park Wedding, Monroe NY - Amanda & Cody
This day was so special for me! First of all, Arrow Park is one of these magical hidden gems I almost got married in myself:) This venue is gorgeous, vast and feels like an elevated camping spot with lake views and a beautiful house in the middle of all the lush greenery. It also offers a large barn style venue for a large party. Personally, I was looking for an intimate space and they have a gorgeous room in the main house to accommodate a smaller party as well:)
Now the main stars of the day were Amanda and Cody, of course! Their love is so genuine and they can’t help but show it through every little touch and glance. It’s always so rewarding capturing a strong bond like their. One of the sweetest moments of the day was Amanda helping Cody do his hair as he sat blindfolded not to spoil the first look because that’s just want they do on a regular basis!
It was a day full of memories of loved ones who couldn’t be there but most importantly celebrating family and friends who could be there to support Amanda and Cody!
Thank you Amanda and Cody for letting me capture it all:)
Brooklyn Winery Wedding Photos - Moya & Tim
A very special celebration of this amazing couple from Australia - Moya and Tim. Brooklyn Winery ended up being a perfect backdrop for their ceremony and party afterwards!
Liberty House Restaurant Summer Wedding Photos - JJ & Fred
I am back from Japan and ready to share all the warm Summer/Fall weddings from last year! First up is JJ and Fred’s golden sunset celebration at the picturesque Liberty House Restaurant. One of these magical days that started with a downpour and us hiding in the hotel getting some awesome indoor shots of JJ and her girls. JJ and Fred opted to skip the first look and Fred’s reaction was priceless during their ceremony as JJ walked out with her dad. The skies completely cleared and we got the most amazing golden light for their portraits after the ceremony.
JJ and Fred share their love for good music and travel and one of their favorite things to do is to chill at home and watch movies with their dog Clark. Clark, of course, made an appearance during the ceremony looking absolutely adorable and overwhelmed by all the attention:)

The Bhakti Yoga Center Rooftop Wedding - Rosie & Andrew
When Rosie and Andrew met each other it was during a yoga class at Bhakti Center. Getting married on the rooftop of that same yoga center seemed like a perfect thing to do and let me tell you I was so excited for these two! We met over coffee and they told me all about their vision for their warm, magical and spiritual celebration in the place that brought them together. It honestly sounded amazing but it turned out even better:) It was a perfect July evening for an intimate gathering of friends and family. We ended up exploring the nearby streets for some colorful East Village portraits and went straight back to the rooftop to witness Rosie and Andrew exchange their vows.
Thank you Rosie and Andrew for making me part of your laid back celebration! I am in awe of the depth of your connection with each other and the calmness you exude.
El Matador Beach, Malibu Sunset Engagement Photos - Jina & Albert
Malibu must be one of my favorite spots in the world! Every time I come back it fills me with joy and inspiration to create and capture that magical West Coast light:)
This past January I had a stop over in Malibu and Los Angeles before documenting a wedding in Seattle and I was so thrilled I met Jina and Albert online and we decided to organize a lifestyle session to capture their engagement photos in El Matador State Beach. Let me tell you this place is crawling with photographers and there must have been at least 5-6 photo sessions happening at the same time. I am not surprised why because this beach is special. It has the rocks, the cliffs, the water and even a rock tunnel! Now I’de like to think we did a couple of things a little differently and really captured the textures and that stunning light;)
Jina and Albert, thank you so much for your energy and for sharing these moments with me!
Westchester Intimate Backyard Wedding, New York - Liz & Jeff
Liz and Jeff decided to have 2 days of celebrations with their ceremony being held at Conservatory Garden in Central Park on Friday followed by a chill party on Saturday! If you know me I love a little bit of an untraditional timeline so documenting these 2 days of love was pretty epic:)
Liz and Jeff met online and after a couple of fun dates realized that they were falling for each other:)
What Jeff loves about Liz: “Her energy, her fun outlook on life and knack for making him laugh every day. Most of all she makes him a better person.”
What Liz loves about Jeff: “His smile, sense of humor, quirkiness. He is hard working, smart, laid back and an amazing person to be with. Liz is so lucky!!”
A huge thank you to Liz and Jeff for making me part of this beautiful low key celebration! More garden weddings please;)
