Central Park Conservatory Garden Engagement Photos
Lindsey and Sam decided to revisit their proposal spot in Central Park’s Conservatory Garden for their engagement shoot. I love how lush these gardens are in the Summer and you don’t have to look hard for beautiful backdrops:)
Eolia Mansion at Harkness State Park Wedding Photos, Waterford CT
When I look back at these photos I remember that beautiful calm feeling of love and joy in the air. Katharine and John got married on a gorgeous June day on Connecticut coast at one of my favorite places - Eolia Mansion at Harkness State Park. Once you arrive, you instantly feel relaxed and open to the magic of this place with its views of Long Island sound and the lushness of the gardens. Of course, the true stars of the day were Katharine and John who so graciously welcomed their guests and pulled off the most laid back celebration. I am grateful to have been a witness to the love these two share but also the love they share with their families and friends.
“John never makes me guess if he loves me or not. He is the most loving man, whether through words or touch, he’s always reminding me” - Katharine
“She laughs easy and seeks joy in life wherever we are. It is such a gift to have that in my life. She is loyal and has my back in whatever situation I’m in, and I know that we will tackle whatever life throws at us together.” - John
Fort Tryon Park Elopement Photos
It was 2020, City Hall was shut down and parties were non existent for the most part but couples still found a way to commemorate their love. Marina and Sean are no exception. They told me they live in Greenpoint and they have two great cats they want to be part of their wedding photos. A little at home session followed by an intimate ceremony in Fort Tryon Park was the perfect adventure for Marina and Sean at the end of one of the weirdest years of our lifetimes:)
Best of 2021
I convinced myself it was important to do a review of our 2021 wedding photos and what I realized it’s totally impossible to showcase all of my favorites! To be clear, we have delivered around 25000 photos to our 2021 clients and each and every one was in some way special to them and to us because it was an important part of their story. What follows ahead is a very tiny snippet of all the joy, beauty, emotions, epic locations and most importantly amazing people who trusted us to document their most important relationships and moments!
Thank you to my amazing team of photographers and videographers who helped me tell these stories!
Prospect Park Boathouse Wedding, Brooklyn NY - Shannon & Kyle
Time to share this gorgeous celebration of Shannon and Kyle at Prospect Park Boat House shot by Yunika. One of my favorite spots in Brooklyn!
Fall Storm King Engagement Session
Yuqing and Steve had big plans for their wedding celebration! We ended up having three separate shoots to document this special time in their life. These two really wanted to travel to Storm Kind Art Center to do some more casual engagement style photos prior to their ceremony and I think we got some of the most cinematic results ever! I absolutely love Storm King for its epic views and the mix of contemporary sculptures and nature patterns! Thank you Yuqing and Steve for this unforgettable session:)
Snowy Winter Brooklyn Botanic Garden Wedding
My 2020 started with this gorgeous celebration at the Palm House in Brooklyn Botanic Gardens!
Catherine and Tyler saw each other for the first time in the snow filled gardens but we quickly changed the scenery to more tropical and desert vibes for their portraits! I think having these unique green spaces is one of the reasons I love BBG so much for weddings! You can really make some magic happen no matter the weather outside.
“The biggest stand out memory I have from the day of is the surge of adrenaline and nerves that I felt as the morning progressed until the very moment I would see my future husband for first look photos. The moment I was with him and holding his hand, I felt safe and comfortable like I could conquer the world. The rest of the day and evening went by as a blur, the most fun party of our lives, and all I needed to enjoy it to the max was be reunited with my partner.“ - Catherine
Fall Brooklyn Winery Wedding
I can’t believe I will be back at Brooklyn Winery in less than 3 months! So here is a throwback to this colorful celebration of Mary Beth and Jaren back in 2019:) Can’t wait to document love stories this year!
Backyard Lakeside Pennsylvania Wedding
Here is a very special laidback backyard wedding which is a perfectly timed inspiration for all of you currently planning outdoor weddings! But besides all the gorgeous details I want to highlight all of the beautiful moments from the day. I don’t think two people can be more excited to be married then this couple!
